Welcome to our holiday home! We’ve installed a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly AC system that keeps you cool while supporting Spain’s sustainability goals.
Spain encourages energy-efficient systems like ours and promotes smart usage to reduce environmental impact. We’re proud to be ahead of the curve!
⚙️ Before You Start – A Few Things to Know:
Our AC is smart — it detects when you leave, open doors or windows, or when it’s dark at night. To work properly, please follow these simple steps:
âś… How to Use the AC Efficiently:
- Close all windows.
The system won’t run if any are open. - Close all external doors, the sitting room door, and the principal bedroom door.
This ensures the system works as designed. - Always close doors behind you when moving between rooms.
- Leave the doors to Bedrooms 2 and 3 open.
These rooms don’t have AC (due to the building’s historic design), so leaving their doors open helps them stay cool.
🌙 At Night:
- The AC will continue running even without movement, as it recognizes darkness.
- Feel free to use the mirror lights in the bathrooms — they won’t affect the AC.
🏡 Why Some Rooms Have No AC Vents:
Our home is over 100 years old. To preserve its charm, we couldn’t install vents in Bedrooms 2 and 3 without impacting their design. We’ve made smart structural changes (like lowering ceilings in some areas) to hide modern systems elsewhere.
